<Hum Bomb, Hum Bomb, Hum Bomb Hum> is the first to exhibit the expanded form of the artist’s ongoing series , which she has worked on since 2023.
 originated as papercut collages, using coloured Dak paper left behind as mementos from the artist’s father, cut into specific forms. 
The early works, developed with corpses from forensic textbooks illustrations, silverfish living in damp and dark places, and poetic 
words of the poet Kim Unhee as main imagery, were the laughter of a deed that blossomed amidst the tragedy of human affairs. 
They unfolded as gestures of laughter blooming within the tragedy of human affairs. Following the vivid yellow indignity in her previous 
solo exhibition 《Feed me stones》, the Festival, which further unfolds and transforms, embraces the garden in Namyangju, 
also the studio where the works are created, as another motif.

<거상 거상 거상거>는 작가가 2023년부터 시작해 온 연작 <축제>의 확장된 모습을 올해 처음으로 선보인다.

<축제>는 아버지의 유품으로 남겨진 채색된 닥종이를 가위로 오려 특정한 모양으로 완성하는, 페이퍼컷 콜라주로 시작됐다. 법의학 교과서에 실린 사체, 습하고 어두운 곳에 사는 돈벌레, 시인 김언희의 시어 등을 주요 심상으로 삼으며 전개된 초기의 작품은 인간사란 비극 속에 피어나던 한 짓의 웃음. 지난 개인전 《살도 뼈도 없는 나에게》에서 샛노란 관욕을 거쳐, 한 층 더 열리고 탈바꿈하는 <축제>는 작품이 제작되는 스튜디오이기도 한 남양주의 정원을 또 하나의 심상으로 맞이한다.
